I began my career in 1997 in the fast-paced international financial markets, where I designed and implemented communication strategies to help leading technology companies communicate their innovative potential. In 2013, I wrote a nonfiction book on technology innovation in the financial markets.

 

After moving to Germany with my family in 2014, I made a career pivot to become a communication skills trainer, which allowed me to leverage my communication expertise and work with amazingly talented people from around the world.

 

While I was in Germany, I received my Design Thinking Coach license from the Hasso-Plattner-Institut (German branch of the Stanford D-School). It was an intense year-long experience that changed my entire perspective on life.

 

I'm a native Chicagoan and I've lived in 3 European countries for almost 15 years. I speak fluent German and conversational Spanish. I deeply understand the challenges and rewards of intercultural communication because I've lived it. I'd love to talk about how I can help your global team use communication to improve teamwork - and outcomes.

 

I received my bachelor’s degree in Spanish from Bryn Mawr College and my master’s degree in International Relations from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
